Carolina Tiamson Obituary

Tiamson, Carolina A., lovingly called "Mommy Lina", passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 2, 2010 surrounded by family. She was 86. Mommy Lina is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Rosendo. She is survived by her four children, Malou, Ross, Maggie and Castor; sons-in-law, Makhlouf Kassab and Phil Hylton; daughters-in-law, Terry Muega and Lou Nicodemus; three grandchildren, Angie, Christine and Andrew; and one great-grandson, Christian, all of whom she loved dearly. She is also step-mother to Esperanza of Maryland, Iluminada Carlos from Kentucky and Father Ed from the Philippines. She was a kind, loving, enthusiastic individual who loved her family, friends and life. She loved to bowl with family and friends, read and watch LA Lakers basketball games. While she may be gone, she has left behind a lifetime of memories and love of family. Viewing will be held at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Cypress, California between the hours of 5 pm and 9 pm, Wednesday, December 8, 2010. Church services is scheduled at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 9 at the St Pius V Catholic Church in Buena Park, California. Family will receive friends after.
