I have warm and wonderful memories about Gene. He was someone who made such a lasting impact in my life and he is very missed. Gene was one of the most gifted musician's I have come to work with. His passion for teaching ,warmth, sense of humor, kindness and in the ways he encouraged his students was a tremendous experience to take in. When Gene would accompany on the piano, I knew that the world had been blessed with an incredibly gifted and remarkable person all around. He often would wear a handstitched shirt which read, "Get off my Bach!" I had the honor in being invited to his Master's level concert many years ago. It still makes an impression when I remember that night. Later, after the reception where many congratulations were in order, I met his dear wife Betty who he always spoke about so adoringly. Gene was a person of faith and I know that he is no doubt making beautiful rhapsodies right to the very heart of our Lord. And He smiles at Gene. Thank you Gene Robinson...You made such a wonderful difference to so many people who loved you deeply. Until we meet again, God's blessings....

He was a wonderful vocal teacher for our Elisabeth. She grew so much as a person the year she took lessons. He was truly a warmhearted man with love in his heart for music and people. His talents will be truly missed.

We are saddened to hear of Gene's passing. He was a great vocal teacher and pianist. He did his job on earth and is now playing beautiful music in heaven. You have our sympathy, Betty, and may God's grace be with you and your family.

I was blessed to have Gene as my vocal teacher many years ago, he brought out my voice and confidence. He shared a beautiful spirit and energy. Recently, my 7 year old daughter had the gift of working with Gene; she lit up at every lesson and said she thought of Gene as family. I know he will be etched on our hearts forever. Hillary Gerber

It was a gift to us that we met Gene last year. How lucky to find a man of Gene's level of talent and experience that was willing to share his immeasurable gifts. Gene touched my son's life with both piano and vocal lessons. Gene's passion for musicals and love of piano inspired my son greatly and have lead my son to beautiful experiences.. I am certain, we will never find a teacher quite like him. A great star in the universe of music and education has gone out. Our love to Gene's family.
