Born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas on December 18. 1947, but he was a long time resident of Mission Viejo, California. He recently resided in Missouri City, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Judy; his sons, Mike Gilmore of Houston and Dustin Gilmore of San Diego, their wives Karen and Victoria; and grandson, John Thomas (JT) who completed his life. Comer was a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington and a regional sales manager for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed officiating high school soccer games. Everyone that was blessed to know him enjoyed his sense of humor and his unrivaled dedication to family and career. The shock of his leaving us is comforted by knowing he will meet us with open arms in heaven when the our day come. He will be so missed until then. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Comer Gilmore, Sr. and Fay Gilmore, and his sister, Nancy Smith. Services will be held at St. Luke's United Methodist Church at 3471 Westheimer in Houston, Texas, on Wednesday, November 17th at 11:30 a.m. Bradshaw-Carter Funeral Home - Houston, TX
