"Hello father... daughter here...hello kid!" I sure miss those days when you answered my phone call with a "hello kid!" 17 years ago today that party line ended, but there´s not a day that goes by without a memory of you in it. Aunt Bev and Kim came for a visit last week. JoJo took them up to the game show in LA the price is right. They didn´t get on, but they had a lot of fun! Remember when I was on that game show and I won a portable television and a cordless phone! Nobody we knew had a court this phone before I think they just came out! I gave both of them to you! I think you loved that phone! Great memory! Missing you so much especially on this day! I love you, dad!

I can't believe how the time has flown since you passed 16 years ago. I miss you with every part of my being. I think of you so often its almost like your still here. And then I realize you are - you're here in my heart. Its so funny I remember when you were so excited about getting your Social Security and retiring... well guess what? I'm at the age - receiving mine and "I get it" now! LOL . I look at my kids - so proud of the adults they've become and the beautiful families they have - I guess I never realized the JOY you felt about all of this until I've been able to witness it all on my own - even though I could always see the joy in your eyes ....and I love it! Every day is a new day - a new adventure, and a new appreciation for all of it. Hello Father,,, Daughter here... Today we celebrate you! Even though 15 years has passed since you went to heaven, there isn't a day that goes by without a thought, a fun memory, a story told about how wonderful you made our family! I feel immensely Blessed to be your daughter. I added a few photos of us at Christmas when you gave me your Masonic Ring and I cried with tears of joy, and my Jimmy giving you a new TV! Let's reflect back when I was 18 years old graduating high school. I remember you saying to me "You did it kid!" Neither of us had a doubt but,,, just saying,,, It took me a bit of effort my senior year to walk with the class and not be at the beach! Such great memories Dad! Good Morning Dad -
I too, can't believe it's been 14 yrs. It seems like just yesterday. So much has changed. I'm in my 60'S! LOL, life seems to be going so fast - and every September 4th and every day while I pause, remember you, love you, and see your smile while you speak to me in memories - I remember and appreciate the father and friend you've always been and I miss you so much.
Yesterday especially while I having breakfast I came across the Mini-Series " The Temptations" (it appeared just like it was "suppose" to be there) and I watched every second of it - all day long -as if, our passion for the history of Rock n Roll stood out ( particularly yesterday?) just for us to be together - and to be honest it felt so comforting - like we are spending the day together with one of your favorite bands. I was happy, and I know you were too. :)
I miss you every minute, and I do feel your love every day through so many things and wanted to share, and often times, just when I need it most - it inspires me to keep going and live this life to the fullest just as you did. A girl could never ask for a better father in her life. Thank you.

It cannot be 14 years since you departed to heaven daddy. I remember this day as if it was yesterday. There hasn´t been a day that has gone by without a thought of you in it. Father.. daughter here... this day, 13 years have gone by, not a day without a thought of you in it. As I sit and write this, A beautiful Hummingbird flew in front of me and Roxi... as she leaped for it, caught it, and I wrestled with her to set it free, it fell to the ground, regained its strength then in a blink of an eye, the hummingbird took flight.. a remembrance of you, your courage, your will, your strength all intertwined with love, I felt at peace. At first I was upset with Roxi for being who she is.. a cat. Then that feeling passed. She was who she was.. you always said you gain strength being and knowing who you are. I find myself struggling on that topic from time to time.. partly because of the loss of my love,,,, Jimmy Dale Ford. Daddy, Being his wife was my soul purpose and now on my own, you can see that of my struggle.. but with that being said, I find my strength in myself and remember what you always spoke: "keep your eye on the prize". Reminding me through the tough days to stay focused with live in my heart, positivity seeks positivity, with each day, do the best you can with God´s purpose. I am Blessed and grateful for each day God gives me. I give thanks and praise the Lord Amen. I miss you dad, especially today. I love you Peace be with you always.

Father,, daughter here,,,, it’s Christmas time and it’s the hardest time of the year for me without you.. Christmas Eve was always your special night for our entire family.. with the family together singing your tradition song; “12 Days of Christmas with you being the first day....”A Partridge in a Pear Tree” was always so much fun, counting our Blessings and just being together I keep close in my heart... it’s especially hard for me now during this time of year with my Jimmy Dale up in the Heavens with you.. for that I feel comfort.. Wow!!!!! Been awhile since I've wrote anything .Christmas is upon Us .Missing family. Dad, Mom, Uncles , grandparents .. All gone some day to reunite . I know you know this... but I've been "feeling" you ALOT lately..:)Through my Real Estate Exam... all the way through my "Tobacco Free" weeks.. with all the goofiness that's happening at work etc..and I am quite happy to know you've been there for me quiding me.. I appreciate every word you've spoken..all that you've taught me, and shown me in my life.. it's definitely helped me through out my years. THANK YOU DAD.
The kids are both doing so well, Ryan is SUCH a great father, he's like you in so many ways Dad... and Cadan is growing SO FAST. I danced with him on my last visit, he's definitely inherited that KERR gene!
Ashley and Chris are great they travel a lot and see the world just as you loved to do..are having a good time furnishing their home. Ashley is moving forward with school, and loving every minute of married life with Chris, he's SUCH a great guy!
Dad... I can't help but have some tears writing this..because We all love you so much, and miss you everyday.
I have always been so PROUD to call you father.
For 50 years now..on this day I have expressed my gratitude toward you in some small way.

I had a peanut butter oreo for the first time the other day. They stole your idea!!!! I remember you used to dip me an Oreo in peanut butter and sit me down at the counter with a diet rite to watch the simpsons (wasnt allowed to watch, duh) before mom came home. Gosh, I miss those days.... Now I'm "all grown up"..... I miss you like crazy but there isn't a day that's gone by I haven't thought about you.

Oh,, take a peek at McKenna now dad! She is growing up so fast and beautifully - she just graduated from 7th grade at Earl Warren Middle School yesterday and had her braces removed the day before! Her smilesare so big and bright! Like a shooting star beaming across the skies! Oh, and she finally found a sport - girl's basketball - she's developing into a super star athlete! We are all very proud of her!

Hello Daddykins!
Did you bring in all that pesky wind last night?
Do you remember when it would be cold and rainy outside and the lights would sometimes go out... and you'd grab the flashlight and hold it up to your face like the boogy-man..and scare us making the three of us scream!!
Well..While I was listening to the " bumps in the night" during the storm I was thinking of just that!
I miss you dad..I think of you alot throughout my day.. and it makes me smile to know your with me... No matter what kind of day it is.
All is well with me at the moment... I find myself alittle worry-some at times about life's lessons... but i'm cool.
Although...When it makes me moody... I remember you saying to me...
"Kid, sometimes thats as good as it gets... so you just take it... and keep goin." ...
so thats what I do! ..and right then.. I say " Thanks Dad"..
(sometimes out loud.. so I often wonder...do you hear me?) so... I'm lettin ya know that not a day goes by that I don't love and miss you so VERY much dad.

Anyway, Mom is hard at work making her famous home-cooked chicken noodles again this year-the thick ones you use to dump all over your turkey and mashed potatoes! Such great memories!

I just wanted to tell you that I miss you so much - especially during some rough times.
Mom will be having knee surgery this week. She is anxious but things will be ok.
McKenna has started 7th grade now - She is officially a "middle schooler" and enjoying it so much. She sure is growing up beautifully.
Been though a rough period with Jim - love will see us through it - it always has. I am keeping the faith daddy and going with my heart - my head sometimes wants to confuse things, but I always seem to manage through it.
McKenna and I are doing fine and we are currently spending our time at nikki's house. Miss Nikki is a Godsend and we are blessed to have her in our lives. Amen.

Hi Dad....
Geesh how time flys...Its August and alot has happened this year.. Ashley has graduated college and is doing great.. Ryan is out of the Navy and into the reserves and has bought a home in Ft. Forth to settle his family. Mom, Jo, Beth and I (along with other family members)went to Ohio for Grandma's 90th Birthday.. It was so great to see her and everyone after so long a time. It was a very spiritual trip for me. And I was glad to take it. I miss you so every day daddykins, Today I started the process of gifting Ryan your Corvette. He looks so good driving it. While I was following him to breakfast this morning I almost got teary eyed thinking about watching you driving that car... and how I knew that you were watching right at that very moment..beaming with pride, because I was to.

Mom bought a foot long Tootsie Roll at Albertson's today. We ate it while we sat in her car listening to the 50's satelite radio celebrating your day with you.
I just got back from 6th grade camp yesterday. I was gone from home a whole week. It seemed longer. I missed everybody a lot. I think I was homesick a day to two. Two kids went home because they got homesick, but I toughed it out. I am glad I did. It was fun though. I am glad to be home.
