Dear Tammy and Nancy,
When my Christmas card to your mother was returned, I knew there must be a problem because she never missed birthday nor Christmas cards. Your mom taught my husband, Jack Mann, how to ice skate in Alexandria, VA about 1944/45. Your parents were great friends with his parents and when we moved to California in 1975, we immediately became another generation of fast friends. Your mother is the reason that I joined DAR and now I am a national officer -- what a surprise! She was one of the warmest ladies I have ever known and I will miss receiving her lovely newsy cards.

Tammy and Nanacy,
You two are litke sisters to us and we will forever love and miss your Sweet Mother. We WILL continue to make her a yummy cake every August 7th and celebrate as we have for a long time. We are always there for you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you while I remember your mom fondly. She brought a smile to everyone she touched, and her daughters carry on that tradition. You are both a credit to her kindness, joy, and grace. She will be greatly missed.

I remember your mom as always gracious, loving and full of cheer, a one in a million classy lady and mother. Be proud of her, celebrate her life and know that she is in a much better place now. And recognize that her spirit still lives here in the presence and persona of her two lovely and gracious daughters.
