Jerald Thompson Obituary

Thompson, Jerald "Jerry" Nolan, 70, resident of Anaheim Hills died Nov. 5, 2010. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Jenkins; 2 sons, Ryan and Andrew, and 4 grandchildren Amber, Marlee, Drew and Macie. Born in Houston Texas, Jerry grew up in Oklahoma graduating from the University of Tulsa. Transferred to California in the 60's, he found his true calling in Sales for over 40 years retiring from Crouse Hinds/Cooper Wiring Devices as Western Regional Manager. An ultimate sports fanatic, he could be found running up and down the sidelines of his kids' sporting events or yelling at the Ram's coach and cheering on his beloved Angels, Lakers, and Oklahoma Sooners. His love of Golf brought him the most fun. Jerry will be remembered as a man who loved his children and his friends, who believed in God, and lived life to the fullest. Memorial services will be held on Thurs. Nov. 18th at 4 PM in the Yorba Linda Friends Church Chapel. McAulay & Wallace Mortuary

Jerry was a very good friend of my husband and I for over 20yrs. I am so saddened to learn of his passing! He will certainly be missed by us! I will never forget his "coaching" the Lakers and Angels while they were playing on tv or we were at the games live with Jerry!
The thing I will remember most about Jerry is how proud of all of his children he is! He could never say enough about them! We had the pleasure to meet Andrew and Ryan and we understood why he was so proud of them as soon as we met them! Although we never had the opportunity to meet Leslie, I am sure we would have loved her too!
Jerry was a great friend and we will never forget him! Rest in peace pal!! I love you! xoxoxoxoxo
