Blais, John G. 77, of Placentia, CA, passed away on September 18th, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones, peacefully at home. |
John was born in Minnesota and was a long time resident of the Yorba Linda - Placentia area. John moved to California at age five. He attended Chula Vista High School and San Diego Community College. During high school, he was president of the local car club, and worked as a stock boy at Sprouse Reitz later becoming store manager. He retired from Bank of America after a long successful banking career that spanned over thirty years.
John was talented at cooking, enjoyed cross-word puzzles, loved to travel, but most of all took great pleasure in spending time with his family and friends.
He was a man of honor, integrity, courage, and hard work. He will be greatly missed and forever remain in our hearts.
John is survived by his spouse, Renee; daughters, Dianna (Michael) Oliar, Lynda (Gary) Krinke; grandchildren, Keith (MinhTri) Prunella, Jill Prunella, Casey Prunella, Dana (Ryan) Moore, Jordan Krinke; great-grandchild, Kody Wells; sisters, Jeanne (Earle) Roys and Janet Wern.
A celebration of life will be held at Memory Garden Memorial Park and Mortuary in Brea on Sunday, September 29th at 2pm. Memory Garden Memorial Park
