Joyce Stuyver

Stuyver, Joyce, died on November 21, 2010 after a battle with Parkinson's for more than four years. She was born on April 1, 1937 in the city of Djakarta (Batavia), Indonesia. She had a career in working with the multiple handicap kids for more than 24 years, retiring at 62 from Edison High School. She also was a very talented artist in the needle work art and a member of the Handy Crafters, Senior Friends and Circle Friends (Crafty Ladies). She was well known by her friends as a very accomplished artist, receiving many first place ribbons. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bernhard "Bernie" and son, Paul; and many close friends and family. She will be deeply missed. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
