Lester Hoerner Obituary

Hoerner, Lester J. "Dick," 88, passed away on Dec 11, 2010. Born in Dubuque, IA July 25, 1922. Dick was a fullback with the Los Angeles Rams from 1947-1951. Dick attended the University of Iowa before playing professional football. He was a verteran of World War II. Dick will be greatly missed by his wife Kathy; daughters, Cecilia Hoerner, Leslie Hoerner (both of Twin Falls, ID) and Louise Hubbard (John) of Lakewood, CA; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grand- children and many friends. He will forever be loved and missed by all who knew him. Services will be Sat. Dec 18 at 11:00 am at the LaMirada Landmark Recreation Center, 13710 Avenida Santa Techla, LaMirada, CA. Family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association.
