Loretta Langlois Obituary

Langlois (Miller), Loretta May Born in Fullerton, on 11/16/1932, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother died on 11/15/2010. Raised with unconditional love by Josephine (Oswald) and Ivan Miller. Loretta, along with her husband, Chuck, in turn raised their six children with the same unconditional love. She followed her career Air Force husband around the world, encouraging her children to enjoy the different cultures and customs they encountered. Loretta was an exceptional teacher and spent 22 years teaching Special Ed students at Diamond School. After she retired 15 years ago, she volunteered to teach religious ed to the Special Ed students at her church. Loretta was an avid gardener, reader, wildflower hunter, and grandmother. She will be missed by her loving husband of 56 years, her 6 children, her 17 grandchildren, 7 great-grand-children; sister, Yvonne, and many friends. A Rosary will be said at 7pm Sunday, 11/21, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton, 9 Hillgate, Irvine, and a Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10am Monday 11/22 at the church. "I, too, have so many wonderful memories of Loretta.....she was always so generous, kind, and thoughtful in addition to being a wonderful hostess. I worked with Loretta for many years at Diamond Elementary and spent many social events at the Langlois residence. I also remember how one of her sons always sent her flowers to school on his birthday thanking his mom for giving him life. She was truly a most giving person and will definitely be missed."Judy Thibault (Laguna Beach,CA)

I have wonderful memories of working with Loretta at Diamond Elementary.
She was professional above and beyond and the children always came first.
We had many laughs and as we became friends we took many trips with her and her wonderful husband, Chuck.
She touched many lives including mine.
