LOUISE WIBERG Obituary

Wiberg, Louise A favorite scripture of Louise Wiberg was I Corinthians - Chapter 13 in which verse 12 reads, "For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, - but then I shall know fully - just as I have been known fully". On July 20, 2009, she went to be with God to learn His secrets - to "know fully". All those who love her are certain that the One who knows her fully will start by telling her He is well pleased with her. Louise was born on November 10, 1919 in Kansas City, Mo, the second daughter of Audrey and Thomas Acrea. Music was her passion and Harold Wiberg was her love. In 67 years together they raised three children and welcomed a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law into their family. Marion (aka Spike) Wilks and husband, Bob, Hal Wiberg, and Tom Wiberg and wife, Susie. From them came 5 grandchildren and their spouses. Regan Wilks and wife, Courtenay, Richard Davis, Andy Davis, Jason Wilks and wife, Farida, and Bailey Wiberg. Louise was always proud to talk of her great grandsons, Dylan Davis and Hunter Wilks. Louise was devoted member of First Baptist Church of Santa Ana and embodied the message of Jesus Christ. That had everything to do with why she never met a stranger and always went out of her way to treat others even better than she would have treated herself. Louise was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered and missed by all who loved her. A memorial service will be held at 3:00p.m., Aug. 2, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Santa Ana at 1010 W. 17th St., Santa Ana, CA. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice Care of California at 377 E. Chapman Ave, Ste 280, Placentia, CA 92870.

I never knew Louise personally, although I feel that I knew her spirit through his recollections that Hal shared with me over the years. I was always touched by the way the "Wiberg's" were so closely connected; a family that loved and shared so many of lifes experiences. No doubt, this family spirit was kindled by the love in Louise's heart.

My deepest condolences' to the Hal and the Wiberg clan at Louise's passing.

When our Lord calls our loved ones home, He leaves a gift of memories in exchange.

Our heart aches for you Harold. We are sorry for your loss.

We enjoyed the many times we were with you and Louise. What a great time we had in Israel in 1998 on the choir tour! We were in the choir together many years and Max sat next to Harold and Marilyn next to Louise a lot of the time. We enjoyed meals and fellowship together several times in each others homes. What a good cook Louise was!!! Louise was an amazing person, a fine Christian woman, so good and fun to work with, talented in so many ways, loving, kind, and always willing to help out where she could. She was loved by so many. Marilyn shall never forget the day she told Louise we were leaving FBC Santa Ana and how they cried and hugged. We have many fond memories of our times together. Louise is no longer suffering pain, she is in a better place and we look forward to being together in heaven one day. Our condolences to you Harold and the family.

Love,
