Marie Mildred Obituary

Mildred, Marie (Rohrs) Brown, 96, of Santa Ana, passed away October 14, 2010 at her home of 57 years. Her family was pioneers in Orange County and grew up in Orange. Born on August 7, 1914, a third generation orange rancher's daughter. She graduated from UCSB and UCLA and worked as a Home Economics teacher. She was married for 43 years to Edward (Ted) C. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1991. They lived in Santa Ana, CA. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Santa Ana. Services will be held at Waverley Chapel, Fairhaven Memorial Park, Santa Ana, CA on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 12 noon. Viewing will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Fairhaven Memorial Park. Officiate Rev. Louis Rohrs. She is survived by two sons, David Brown of North Tustin, CA and Tim Brown of Lake Arrowhead, CA; five grandchildren, Randy and Ryan Brown, Amanda Buchanan, Kimberley Tebbetts and Christopher Brown and two great-grandchildren, Reese Brown and Hailey Buchanan.
