Mr. Quigley was by far one of the best teachers in my academic life! I'll never forget his charisma, humor and ability to connect with his students. More than a teacher, he was friend; someone you can rely on. I'm incredibly saddened to hear of his death now...almost a year after the fact. May he rest in peace.

I had Mr Quigley as a teacher at Brookhurst back in the mid 70's. We studied "Brians Song" at the end of the class, he had a relative of the actual people come in. Great teacher very passionate..RIP

I first met Mr. Quigley in my freshman year at Savanna High School. He was a wonderful teacher, mentor, friend...an all around wonderful human being, who would do anything for anyone. He made a strong impact in my life and I am fortunate that he was a part of it!

I first became acquainted with Mike due to his involvement with Fullerton community baseball over the years and later played against Mike's Savanna H.S. baseball teams multiple times. I was most fortunate, however, to have Mike as my Master Teacher during my student teaching at Savanna High School. He was always generous with his time, and we spoke frequently after class about teaching and life in general. He was a great mentor for numerous student-teachers like myself and a genuinely kind person. He will most definitely be missed.

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Mike Quigley, a dedicated teacher and a wonderful human being. He is already missed. I worked with him on the mock trial program from 1992 to 2004 at Savanna High School. He was a fine man and a true student of the law and of history. God give him rest. He has earned it. I am so very sorry to hear about the dearest teacher i ever had throughout school, he was a wonderful man, and he was always fair and kind to all of us...i had math with him, but, i always thought it was funny that he always played "sport bloopers" films on fridays...loved fridays...but most of all i looked forward to seeing his welcoming and smiley face...too bad there arent more teachers like him, nowadays...i have and always will remember him...may that sweet man rest in peace...XOXO's

You'd be hard pressed to find a student of Mr. Quigley's that he didn't make an impression on. His passion for teaching and love for people, law enforcement and sports was second to none.

Quig - may you rest in peace knowing YOU made a difference in this world.

My deepest sympathy to all who loved Mike. I remember Mike, way back almost 40 years ago, as a very young Umpire with West Fullerton Little League. Even back then, his kindness and grace in dealing with young people was readily apparent. He leaves quite a legacy and will be sorely missed.

I was shocked to see Michael's name in the paper today. I am so sorry to see such a valuable life cut short. Mike was my student teacher a long, long time ago at South Junior High in Anaheim. He went on to become an excellent teacher and a loved coach. I was always impressed by his gentle spirit. I am sure he will be missed. My sympathy to all his family.

We all knew and liked Mike at Sunny Hills High School in the 1960s. He was always involved in sports, a good student, and a good friend. We knew his dad. John, and brother Patrick, too.

On behalf of all my classmates and friends, I express my deepest condolences. We're sorry for your loss.
