To My Dear,Sweet Mother,
I miss you so much. I can't believe you have been gone from us for almost a year. You may be gone from my arms but you are always in my heart. Not a single day passes that you aren't in my thoughts. It helps to know you are at peace and are with those you love so much. You would be proud of all of your children-we strive everyday to be the people you knew we could be. Rest well Mother. Know that we love and honor you in all that we do. Know that the memories we hold close bond us to you and to each other. The saddness of losing you is surpassed only by the pride and love we have for you-our beautiful Mother. Always and Forever,Your Daughter- Lucy Anne

I have just learned of Mimi's passing away and am so sorry. Mimi and her family were the best of friends back in Louisville and we had lots of wonderful times together. My best memory was spending holidays with them as we both lived away from our families. Mimi was a great friend and wonderful Mother and I'll always remember her. Gene, Jerry and Lucy Ann please accept my deepest sympathy. I know that you'll miss her terribly. Love to you all, Margaret Wesley

I got to know Mimi at Fullerton PT where I work and she was a member of our Health Club. She always had a cute joke for me and great advice for dealing with my son with Learning Disabilities. She loved her family and traveling to see them. I miss her so much since she had to stop coming but am so grateful for the chance to know her!

I had the privilege of working with Mimi at St. Jude Medical Center for 5 years. In that time we became friends. Mimi always remembered my birthday and that touched my heart deeply. Mimi was wholly devoted to the Medical Center and its patients and made sure that every patient on her unit had the best possible experience, given the circumstances. She was the TRUE embodiment of dignity, service, excellence and justice. Sweet Mimi Gillespie, I hope you will rest now. Your work on this earth is done – and done well! Bravo!
