Nana Nieto...
Strong single mother who did all she could for her children and family
And her love was worth more than millions
You could see the ambition in her eyes
and the way she carried her head high
When this world faced her with cruel intention and lies
Strong woman who always kept family ties
Underneath the pain and emotions still she seemed to rise
In hard times she kept her pride
Like a star in the sky, my Nana shines
I wonder why
the good so young have to die and we are left with memories
nothing means anything, not even the finer things
just memories of when our family drank a few and would sing
her passion was alway true
now she rests in the kingdome above the sky so blue
Damn Nana we really miss you!

To my beautiful 2nd Mom, whom I Love very much. I thank you for raising me, giving me advise & telling me to stay strong, and for all the good & fun times I spent with you & my cousins. I know you are with my Mom(Aurora) rejoicing in the heavens.

To my beautiful Tia Natie (Nina) you will be missed deeply!! We were all blessed to have you for (96 wonderful years) even through the toughest of times, but you as always had the strength to go on. I know you are reunited with Mom (Aurora) so rejoice now!!

To Mary, Lupe and Richard, to Cathy and the Sanchez greatgrandchildren, to Scott and Eric, we want to say how sorry we are you have lost Nana. She was a wonderful, powerful, strong and beautiful woman who I grew to love. I always knew she loved me just by the way she looked at me whenever I walked into her home. Take comfort and know that Nana is looking down on you right now and smiling for she loved all of you so much; she will always be with you, in your hearts. You and yours have our deepest condolences.
