Hi Hon, it is so hard to believe that it has been 15 years since you left us, not of your choice or ours. This day is always remembered and will never forget. So much has happened since you left us, especially having two beautiful granddaughters, who are now 13 yrs old, and so beautiful and smart and loving girls. They never knew you before you left, but they sure do know you and know that you are their Papa.

This website has been difficult to access with Legacy making changes, which I am not happy about. I will continue to write and remember on special days. Our 62nd Wedding Anniversary will be coming up soon, Nov 11. Sure wish you were here to celebrate. I love you and miss you all the time. Sgt Rock, (Jean)

Oscar and I go all the way back to Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Brigade, at Kaneoho, HI. I was Chief Clerk and trained him to be the outstanding clerk he was. We saw each other briefly in Vietnam when he was a sergeant and chatted a couple of years ago on the phone. My heart has sunk a little lower in my chest, never to rise again. RIP my friend.
