Ronald Payne Obituary

Payne, Ronald Craig, born February 4, 1952 in Indio, California died on December 1, 2010 from injuries due to an accident. He is survived by his son, Lucas Ryan Payne, niece Cherilyn Smith, nephews Bryant Wu and Jordan Balibundi, sister, Charlene Payne. Ron was a real estate broker in the Saddleback Valley for over 35 years. He was a loving father, husband, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him with his great sense of humor and gentle manner. Services will be held on Saturday December 18th at 10:00am at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. A private burial at sea will be held at a later date. Because of his love for music and his son's involvement in music at El Toro High School, the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, all donations be made to El Toro High School Music Program or "ETHS IMPB" at 25422 Trabuco Road, #105-PMB447. Lake Forest, Cal 92630. Miller- Jones Mortuary

Ron was truely loved and will be forever in our memories. He was a gentle soul who always had a smile and brightened our lives. We enjoyed watching our children perform together and he was so proud of Lucas. Ron was always taking a million pictures of Lucas whenever they went somewhere, not a bad picture in the bunch! We love you Ron, with all of our hearts and you will never be forgotten.

Ron was a great man and friend. We were very close friends when we lived in Costa Mesa.(before Mission Viejo) diving, skiing and just having fun. I hadn’t seen Ron in a long time, we only recently got re acquainted.

Ron was very proud of Lucas. I have not doubt that Lucas will follow in his fathers footsteps and do great things.
