Rosemary died unexpectedly on May 22, 2013, after a short illness. She was 70 years old.
Born January 30, 1943, in Chicago, Ill., she relocated to Orange County, Ca. in 1992 to be near her only sister. She was a teacher for 50 years and received her Masters Degree in Education in Indiana, where she resided and worked for 30 years. Her second home became the Speech and Language Development Center in Buena Park, Ca. She was so loved and loving. She leaves behind a brother, Lawrence F. Carnes of Ill and a sister, Carol Schaefer of Fountain Valley, Ca; three nephews, Larry (Becky), Michael, Daniel and one niece, Katie (Mrs. Jon Reid) all from Illinois, and so many good friends she made here in California. Rosemary will be forever missed by all who knew her and loved her. Her passing is a huge loss for all of us. Melrose Abbey Memorial Park & Mortuary. www.melroseabbeyfh.com

My dear sister Rosemary. I can't put into words how much I miss your not being here with me. You were the best sister any woman could have. I love you.
