SHERMAN GLENN Obituary

Glenn, Sherman Karl Nov. 6, 1935 - Oct. 29, 2010 Sam died at home on October 29th after a long and hard fought battle with heart disease. He leaves behind his beloved family, an incredible network of friends and a legacy of love, honor, integrity, humor. He was born and raised in South Gate and proudly served on the South Gate Police Department before retiring as a Lieutenant. Sam was a good person, honest and truthful. He knew right from wrong and never varied from that path. He was fun, spontaneous and full of spirit. He loved his family fiercely and was fiercely loved in return. He is survived by his daughters, Toni (Nelson), Laura (Kennith), Claudia, Jennifer; his sister, Frieda; his grandchildren, Nick, Megan, Jessica, Hunter, Stone, Emily, Sarah; 3 great-grand-daughters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Service to be held Nov. 17th at 11 am, South Gate Park Auditorium, 4900 Southern Ave., South Gate, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the German Shepard Rescue of Orange County.
