Though I didn't personally know Thomas, I did know of his strong, kind, and resilient character through his son Francis. I am aware how much he meant to those around him and confident he will forever be cherished and remembered fondly. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your father - what a nice guy. And the tea your folks served was the best I have ever had! I lost my mom 13 years ago and my dad just 4 years ago. I know the sadness. Regards Noel

"As a little girl, I remember Uncle Tom making me look at things from a logical standpoint, and never lecturing me. Once I was talking to him while he was working in the garage and I said "Uncle Tom, have you noticed how many shark attacks there have been this summer?" and he smiled then said: "Gillian, have you thought that maybe since the movie Jaws came out earlier this year that maybe people are just paying more attention to them?" I thought "..hmmm, maybe you're right" He was a sweet and kind man. I know the pain of losing a father, and I'm so very sorry. I know there are no words to console right now, but we send our love to the family.
