Thomas Neal Eddleman

Eddleman, Thomas Neal, passed away at home in his sleep on October 24, 2010. He was born on April 26, 1916 in Du Quain, Illinois to Maxwell and Bertha Provart Eddleman. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1940. Tom spent two years in the Aviation, rising to Tech Sergeant. Tom came to California in 1950 and went to work for North American Aviation building P51 Mustang Fighters and T6 Jexan Hauners, and later the Space Shuttle. Club racing and cars were his passions and in his blood. He drove a H Production Sprite at Riverside, Willow Spring, Button willow and Fontana. He truly loved the sport and the wonderful friends he made at Cal Club. He is predeceased by his wife, Ursula Eddleman of 51 years and together they are survived by daughter, Donna Mc Farlin; son-in-law, Pastor Harry McFarlin; daughter, Petra Gilbert Marquis; son-in-law, Charlie Marquis; daughter-in-law, Dr. Aleta Peters Schinsky; daughter-in-law, Betty Jewel Fink; eight grandchildren, Karen Corson and her husband, Mark Corson, Susie Munson, Andy McFarlin, Patrick McFarlin and his wife, Julie McFarlin, Melanie Bussard and husband, Michel Bussard Mary Leanne Sagert and husband, Justin Sagert, Joshua Hollenbeck and his wife, Rachel Hollenbeck and Casey, Marie Olson. They have 18 great-grandchildren. We loved him very much and will miss his dry sense of humor. A Celebration of a well lived Life will beheld on Friday, November 12th, 2 p.m. at Fairhaven Chapel.
