I worked with Bill at Douglas Aircraft in the mid to late 1960's. We would often pay handball after work. I thought I was a good athlete but he beat me almost every time we played.

Kirsten and Eric, I just wanted to let you know we will miss Uncle Acker, I know he is probably cringing right now saying "call me Bill" but that is the only way I know him. I loved him very much. I know you are both going to miss him immensely. I can't imagine the pain of losing a parent and how painful the last few months have been. I know mom will there for you too so lean on her and each other. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I love you both.
