Frank Tauriello was my "Uncle Frank" - not by blood but rather the best friend of my father's since early 1940's.... always known to me as my Uncle! What a wonderful man! It was nice to come across this page and read the comments! So many stories I could add! Our house is filled with his artwork. Both he, and my father, co owned several galleries over the years. He is very much missed and will be forever fondly remembered.

My mother saw this beautiful print in the 1970s in a store in Newport Beach, CA. Now that both my parents passed, this beautiful print that they both loved is in my Long Beach entrance hallway bringing joy to all who enter.

Today in the world of Art we lost one of the best Artist and friend, En Paz Descanse

Frank Michael Tauriello

If Rembrandt was a life he would have painted Guevara just like this. See portrait on facebook
...
A Friend, a Mentor, a Maestro Frank and I painted many times together he was one of my favorite Painters of all times, between many of our outings he did many portraits of myself throughout the years, he used to call me to tell me, Art come and see your new portrait, by the time I got to see it was sold, he repeated the same thing several times with the same results he couldn't keep my portraits hanging in the wall for to long.

I'll miss you Frank, and I wish you a very colorful journey into haven full of bright colors and white canvas clouds to paint, and guide my brush into a life of art just the way you'll want it to be.
