Seapin, Richard John, |
66, of Dana Point, died October 30, 2012 with his family by his side.
Richard was born August 29, 1946, in East Los Angeles, to John and Annabel Seapin.
He attended Arroyo High School in El Monte. He continued his education at Long Beach State graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Art History.
Richard served 4 years with the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic.
In 1984 Richard became a police officer for the Laguna Beach Police Department where he served his community for over 17 years before retiring.
His interests included oil painting, surfing, golfing, and quoting lines from old movies.
Richard is survived by his wife of 45 years, Christine; son, Joshua Seapin; daughters, Stephanie Picha, Jamie Uriarte, and Nikki Duenas; grandsons, Teo and Sebastian Duenas, Cody Picha.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Kelly Holly Woods, and son-in-law, Ronald Martin Woods.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. at El Toro Memorial Park. 25751 Trabuco Road, Lake Forest (949) 951-8244.
