Harold Edwin Caliver

Harold Edwin Caliver, 72, of Silver Spring, departed this life on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland. He was born on February 14, 1939, in Ohio, to the late Earl Caliver and Dorothy Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Caliver. Mr. Caliver was a former truck driver for the Waste Management Corp where he retired after his tour of service. He is survived by his wife, Bernice S. Caliver of Silver Spring, Maryland; two sons, Harold Caliver Jr. and Earl Gerald Caliver, both of Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Shirley Arnold of Columbus, Ohio; three brothers, Earl Caliver, Gerald Caliver and Ronald, all of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011, at the Mount Holy Baptist Church in Unionville with the Reverend Frank D. Lewis Sr. Eulogist and Pastor Leon Easterling officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Satchell's Funeral Service Inc. of Orange is in charge of arrangements.
