James Henry Weakley

James Henry Weakley, 67, of Orange, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

Mr. Weakley was born to the late Frank Weakley and Willie Teresa Kump on May 9, 1942, in Madison.

Mr. Weakley was also preceded in death in death by two brothers, Daniel Weakley, formerly of Richmond and Jesse Weakley, formerly of Luray.

Mr. Weakly is survived by his lifelong and loving companion, Janice Henshaw of Orange; his former wife, Kathleen Weakley of Madison; his children, James Weakley and his wife, Wendy, Bruce Weakley and his wife, May, Juanita Jenkins and her husband, Richard, all of Madison; brothers, Robert Weakley and his wife, Nancy, of Powhatan, and David Weakley, all of Reva; sisters, Helen Weakley and her husband, Kevin, of Powhatan, and Martha Burton of Reva; grandchildren, Toni, Brittany, Robert, and Tyler, all of Madison; great-grandchildren, Jordyn and Elizabeth of Madison; his best friend and cousin, Harold Weakley; plus many nieces and nephews.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2009, at the Etlan Cemetery, with Pastor Ray Berry officiating.

The family received friends at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, from 6 until 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2009.
