Walsh, Deborah
Walsh, Deborah After a long and courageous fight, Deborah Lynn Gino Walsh, 38, of Orlando died Friday surrounded by her loved ones. A spectacular mother to Joseph Anthony Gino, beloved daughter of Christine (Campbell) and Joseph Walsh and tremendous sister to Barbara (Walsh) Trachtenberg, Deb will be sorely missed. She was a fun-loving aunt to Tyler and Sloane and a wonderful sister-in-law to Barbara's husband Jon. She is also survived by her grandmother Ann (McMahon) Campbell and her many aunts, uncles and cousins. Deb was raised on Long Island, New York, graduated from St. Anthony's High School in S. Huntington, NY and earned her B.A. from Molloy College in Rockville Centre, NY where she played softball. After graduation, Deb relocated to the Orlando area where she worked at Full Sail University before becoming too ill to work. All who knew her were amazed by her bravery, the love and devotion she had for Joseph and her forgiving heart. She would want us all to remember her joie de vivre. We will always remember her amazing memory and her infectious smile. Visitation will be held at Collison Family Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St's. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Winter Park on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 2pm. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Joseph Gino Trust or StupidCancer.
