ALLEN, MSGT BILLY J., USAF, RETIRED, age 77, of Winter Park, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at Manor Care Nursing Home. MSGT Allen was born August 2, 1928, in Bessie, OK to the late Buell and Edna (Watson) Allen. He moved to Central Florida in 1968 from Carbondale, IL and was a retired Master Sergeant from the U.S. Air Force and later retired as a manager from Eckerd's Drug Store. MSGT Allen is survived by his sons, Maurice (Karen) Allen of Atlanta, GA; Desmond (Kathi) Allen of Sanford; Dennis Allen of Greenville, SC; Matthew (Wendy) Allen of Orlando; daughter, Cathy (Allen) Lewis of Winter Park; his brothers, Richard Allen of Oklahoma, Kenneth Allen of California; sisters, Grace Igo of Oregon; Bobbie Meier and Imogene Rogers, both of Oklahoma; and ten grandchildren. The Funeral Services for MSGT Allen will be held Saturday, April 29, 2006 at 2PM in the Howell Branch Chapel of Collison Family Funeral Homes with Patrick Air Force Base officiating.
