Jack Roy Seims(1944 - 2013)

Seims, Jack Roy69, of Orlando passed away Monday, September 16, 2013. Mr. Seims was born March 11, 1944 in Lake Wales. He left his hometown of Avon Park to attend school and play football at the University of Florida. Jack was an extremely enthusiastic life-long gator fan and Phi Delta Theta brother. Jack moved his family to Winter Park in the 70's from Highlands County. He was a commodity broker and real estate broker in the Orlando area for decades. Jack was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in the 1990s. Throughout his arduous journey with MS, he consistently exemplified compassion towards others, courage and humility. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith" (2 Timothy 4:7) Jack is survived by his brother: Stephen Seims, his sister: Joan Seims and her husband Jim Prescott, his ex-wife: Sandi Forman Seims, his life-long best- friend: John Fazzini, and his four children and five grandchildren. Daughter: Dr. Luci Seims Higgins, husband Michael Higgins and granddaughters Charli B'Anne and Bailey Lane Higgins. Son: Lt. Col Jackson Jeb Seims, wife Laura Underwood Seims, and granddaughter Presleigh Hayden Seims. Daughter: Scarlett Seims Fire, granddaughter Turquoise Jade and grandson Diamond Wild Fire. Daughter: Jacqueline Seims Rudewicz and husband Daniel Rudewicz Funeral services for Mr. Seims will be held 10:00am, Saturday, September 21, 2013 in the Chapel of Peace at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park.
