James Arnold Reiser

Reiser, James Arnold "" 82, Leesburg, passed away May 6, 2013 at home. He was born January 17, 1931 in Narrowsburg, NY son of Gladys Mae Murh and Charles William Reiser. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was united in marriage to Joan Brewster on August 29, 1954 in Pond Eddy, NY. He was a retired school teacher for the Sussex, NJ public school system and a local resident since 1993 from Vernon, NJ. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Elks, American Legion and Retired School Teachers Association. His granddaughter Jessica Perez preceded him in death as did three siblings. Surviving is his wife Joan; children Joan Crosby and husband Dan, Rochester, NY; Mary Pereira and husband Steven, Sunrise, FL and James William Reiser and wife Kim, Weston, FL; grandchildren Tara and Glenn Lamoureux and Tori and Avery Reiser and five siblings. Mass of the Resurrection for Jim Reiser will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, celebrated by Very Reverend Robert E. Webster. Burial will follow in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the funeral home.
