Vincent "Michael" Burwinkel

"MICHAEL", 47, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012, after a courageous battle with kidney cancer surrounded by his family at his residence in Hurst, TX. Michael was born August 19, 1965 in Point Pleasant, NJ, grew up in Orlando, FL graduating from Evans High School in 1983 and spent a good portion of his adult life in Kissimmee, FL before settling in Hurst, TX in 1999. Michael was an electrician by trade. He loved baseball and spent a majority of his free time over the years volunteering as coach and umpire for Kissimmee Little League, Osceola High School and the Senior Little League World Series in Kissimmee among other baseball organizations. Burwinkel of Hurst, TX; daughters, Chelsea Burgess and Sarah Bates (Kolt) of Hurst, TX; sons, Chase Lee of Hurst, TX and Jason Lee (Sara) of Kissimmee, FL; seven grandchildren; mother, Barbara
Tyink (Cal) of Melbourne, FL; sisters, Lori Miller (Mike) of Kissimmee, FL and Amy Eaton (Sean) of Lakeland, FL; brother, Stephen
Burwinkel (Nancy) of Melbourne, FL; stepmother, Flo Burwinkel and stepsisters, Karen and Michelle Brooks of Winter Park, FL; stepbrothers, Kirk, Doug and Scott
Tyink of Michigan; numerous nieces and nephews; and aunts, uncles and cousins in Ohio, New Jersey, Florida and Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his father, Philip Burwinkel. A Memorial service was held Thursday, November 8, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Hurst, TX with Reverend Philip Rhodes and Reverend Mary Spradlin officiating.
