I'm so sorry to hear about Bill. He was a wonderful man who touched the lives of many people. I still remember when I met him during my internship at Conway Elementary in 1986. He was always kind and thoughtful. He treated everyone with respect and that is why he was so well liked and respected by everyone that met him. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Take care and know that you are loved very much!

Gone from our sight
Gone from our touch,
But never our hearts
and never our memories.
Those we love never go away
for we will see them another day.

Bette, Beth and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Bill. He will be missed by all. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I was talking to Jeff and Shelby and they were sharing some memories with me about the times when Bill would come to school and help out with projects at dover Shores.
I have talked to Fred Jr. and he was very emotional and sad. He has always had great respect for Bill. He remembers him well even with his memory problems.

Dear Bette, We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Bill was such a wonderful person. We spent many years together at Conway Elementary. He gave me
a Christmas ornament that was a red bird which represented good luck. I have used it every year since.
. He was a dear friend and was always there when we needed him in the
guidance department.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of great
loss. Shannon & Wil Dykes

Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. I recall having a nice conversation with Bill the last time we had an opportunity to visit. No one enjoyed a good scotch like Bill. In fact, he taught me a thing or two about the art of scotch. Bill was a great conversationalist with a sharp sense of humor. I always knew a good joke was coming when ever I saw him. I always respected Bill. He was intelligent and his insight into politics was something I appreciated. I know this has to be a great loss for all of you. Find comfort in the fact that you are in the thoughts of so many friends and family members. You will draw strength from your faith and the wonderful memories you will carry with you always. Peace be with you!
