Preston Partin Obituary

PARTIN, PRESTON M., better known to his friends as "Poor Man Partin", pioneer native and life long resident of E. Orange County, born April 16, 1924 in Orlando, FL, passed away April 9, 2010 at the age of 85. Survived by his wife, Florence (married 63 years); children, Winfreda Lutz, Glen Partin and Cindy Long; grandchildren, J.J. Lutz, Jenny Killingsworth,
David Partin and Jessica Sparzak; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Sean Killingsworth and Madison Lutz; sisters, Wanda Miller and
Judy Thurman; numerous nieces and nephews. Army Veteran, served WWII, India. Self-employed, Citrus, Land clearing, Cattleman. Arrangements by Carey Hand
Colonial Funeral Home. Memorial Service, Monday, April 12 at 2 p.m., Fort Christmas Park, Christmas, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 W. Central Parkway, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.

Preston you will be missed by all who knew you. Just had to meet this man once and you could consider him friend for life. As for me he always called me Big 80 his personal phone man and 1/2 of his tag team. I still owe you breakfast and one of these days we will meet again and have that cup of coffee. You were my friend will always think of you as a poor man.....yeah right....!!!!
