Dear Marilyn and Sons,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God comfort you with wonderful memories of your life together and the wonderful moments you shared. Robert displayed his great faith to those around him. We are grateful to have known him.

Dear Blackwood Family,
We send you all our deepest sympathy. Bob was a wonderful Christian man and he sang in the men's choir and my husband, Chris, would always bring home great stories from Bob's home when Ron Prochnow held the choir practice at Bob's house. Bob told us a great story once about being a boy choir member at St. Luke's Episcopal. He gave us a wonderful tour of Trinity Lutheran a while back. Bob will be missed and will go on as a Saint in heaven with Ron Prochnow, Shirley Bean and all the other Saints on High. Pastor Fink used to speak of the Saints on High and the Saints on Earth. Heaven is now the home for Bob and we will see him again some day. Take comfort everyone in the resurrection and know that "the dead in Christ shall rise first..". God's peace to the Blackwood family and to all that knew and loved Bob Blackwood at his Trinity Lutheran Church family.

I worked with Bob at Martin from 1985 to 1987. What a great guy to work with! Earth's loss is Heaven's gain!!

I remember growing up just down the street from Mr. Blackwood, he was a very nice man. I'm sorry for your loss.
