I am deeply saddened by our loss,
to soon our tears are cried.
She took the job of raising us,
God knows that Momma tried.
I miss our conversations,
I miss your smiling face,
I say with no reservations,
In my heart you have a place.
And though I miss you for a time,
I know it won't be long,
Till the circle be unbroken,
And we rejoin you in a song.
I love you and I know you loved me too. Give Dad a big hug and kiss for me. I love and miss you both very much.

Well to a special aunt I will miss you very much. I remember a funny moment in our lives today while pouring a glass of milk. To all wondering, well I was a young boy she was pouring me a glass of milk and told me to let her know when it was enough, well I did without saying a word. You can only imagine the mess and look oh not to mention the words. Yes I am laughing as I wright this. Miss you aunt Arlene and LOVE YA TOO!!

My Dear Sis,
It's hard to find words fitting enough to say good-bye to my older sister. You were there for me when I needed you and I'll never forget you and your family for that. I'm going to miss our long chats on the phone. I left Valentine yesterday--while I was there I thought I wish you could be there instead of me--just one more time to see the family--you mothered us all and was our peace-maker and we all love you for that, we loved just because yoy were you. Bye- for- now,
Your Sister,
Ruby

He Only Takes the Best
God saw she was getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around her
and whispered, "Come with Me".
With tear-filled eyes we watched as they took her away.
Although we loved her deeply,
We could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard-working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
For as long as there is memory,
They'll live on in our heart.
You will be missed dearly by all who were blessed to have known you. I will always remember your sweet smile and your kindness. I love you and your family like you were my own, so I hope I can be a source of strength and comfort during this tough time.

Mamaw,
I am so numb to losing you so soon, You were my grandma and my friend, the one I could call and help mend my fears. You were a strong woman and a great woman to me. I will soo dearly miss the birthday cards and the christmas cards with the $20, that always made us girls laugh. I love you Grandma and you will always be with me in memory. As you walk the stairway to heaven please find my papaw and give him the hugs and kisses and the tears we left behind.
Love you Mamaw always and forever,
Shawna
Grandmothers are always here to comfort you,
No matter what you do.
They dry your tears; help you conquer your fears,
And say they will love you for all your years.
Mine always told me to give it my all,
To never give up, even if I fall.
She was always there when I needed a friend
And time with her I loved to spend.
Oh that day, that horrible day,
The day I was informed and I had much dismay.
I didn’t know what to say or do,
I was sad and heartbroken and didn’t know if I could push through.
The funeral was depressing and I couldn’t help but cry.
My tears were like rain, I felt like I could just die.
I miss her so much; I wish she was here,
But even though she’s gone, I still hear her whisper "I love you" in my ear.

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grew old.
He made her smile out of sunshine,
And He molded her heart out of gold.
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars.
In her cheeks, fair roses, you see.
God made a wonderful mother;
And he gave that dear mother to me.

I love you dearly and will miss you so much. We have shared so many many things in life and I can't imagine not having you to share them from here but I do know you will be there to watch over us. You are my angel. I always admired you for how strong you always were and I will try to maintain that the best that I can.
I love you Momma!

Little did we know that Mother's Day would be the last one we would celebrate together. I will never be able to call you, see you, celebrate your birthday or tell you I LOVE YOU again. That deeply saddens me. But I sure have lots of fond memories of you Mom! I will keep them forever in my heart. We've had lots of fun times over the years and I am so blessed for our time spent together. The last few months were so special! I will try and be as strong for my family as you have been for me for so many years. You were definitely taken too soon. We had lots of plans. Thank you Mom for always being there for me.
My Mother, My Friend.

She was 77, the days went by to quickly. May 14th came & I found myself sitting in her driveway wanting to save her from this what felt like a terrible dream. It's hard to understand why it was her time to go. As I look back over time I am thankful for all the laughter, smiles, hugs, kisses & special times we shared. Those memories will always hold a special place in my heart. I cherish the time my children got to spend with their GG. They may be little, but they know the love they have for her. Growing up there was nothing better than frozen twinkies from Papaw & a microwaved potato made with love by Grandma. She knew the exact amount of butter to put on that potato & boy were they delicious. She was perfect in every way, she was Grandma. If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you back again.
All my love, forever and always.

Dear Grandma,
We little knew that morning, God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
We love you so much Grandma!
