HOLLIFIELD, JR., EDWIN J., A Celebration of Life for Edwin J. Hollifield, Jr., 76, who passed away suddenly Friday, October 1, 2004 in Ormond Beach, will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 at 11AM in The Ormond Beach Union Church, Ormond Beach. His family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday at Lohman Ormond Funeral Home, 733 West Granada Blvd. Mr. Hollifield was a lifelong resident of Ormond Beach. He served in the U.S. Army. Edwin was a member of The Ormond Beach Union Church since he was 14 years old and a former Deacon in the church. He was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, The University of Florida Alumni Association and a Gator Booster. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Edna Mae of Ormond Beach; his brother, John (Cornelia) Hollifield of Maitland; his niece Dana Adkinson of Maitland and his nephew, Travis Hollifield of Orlando.
