Deonka "DeeDee" Drayton

Drayton, Deonka DeeDee,32, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Columbia, South Carolina, passed away June 12, 2016. She was born on July 5, 1983 in Georgetown, South Carolina. Deonka was a very vibrant personality. Known to many as DeeDee, she was very expressive and had a magnetic personality. DeeDee liked fashion. Her favorite clothing and apparel included Michael Kors and Air Jordan's. She is remembered for her love of poetry, music, and basketball. DeeDee was truly a people person. DeeDee had an infectious smile that warmed the hearts of all who saw it. DeeDee loved hard, especially her family and her friends. DeeDee had a genuine relationship with her Lord and Savior. Her favorite scriptures included the 23rd Psalm and Psalm 118 with emphases on verse five. Her poetry expressed her understanding of her faith and her relationship with God. DeeDee wrote, "Many are called but few are chosen." She was called and chosen on June 12, 2016. Private funeral services were held on June 18, 2016. The family would like to thank all acts of love, financial gifts and other expressions of care that have been shown to them during this most difficult time.
