CHAPPELLE, SR., BISHOP RICHARD ALLEN, 78, the 108th elected and consecrated Bishop of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 in St. Louis, MO. He was born in Miami, FL. He was ordained in the South Florida conference. He was an educator in Broward County schools for 14 years. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 11 AM at Mt. Herman AME Church, 401 NW 7th Terrace, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, with Bishop McKinley Young, Presiding Prelate, 11th Epsicopal District, and eulogist. Interment: Dade Memorial Park, Miami, FL.
