Carolyn C. Jones

JONES, CAROLYN C. (BETTY), born January 31, 1926 in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, Canada, died May 24, 2011. Betty was a longtime resident of Maitland, FL where she was retired from Watson Realty. Betty was also an active member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Maitland, serving as a member of the vestry for many years until she and her husband moved to Sun City Center, FL in 1996. Betty is pre-deceased by her husband, Capt. John P. Jones Jr., and son, David Jones. She is survived by son John P. Jones, III, Charlotte, NC, and daughters Susan Jones Higley (Paul), Maitland, Carolyn Jones Sellers (Jim), Merton, WI, Ellen M. Jones, Mobile AL; and two grandsons, Justin P. Higley of Orlando and Parker J. Sellers of Merton, WI. A memorial service will be held at St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Orlando on Saturday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Higley.
