Dina Ann Atwood Kuiper

ATWOOD KUIPER, DINA ANN (GENERALI) age 52, passed away June 19, 2009 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Orlando, Florida. She is survived by her husband, Derrick Kuiper of Lake Mary, FL, her daughter, Allyson Atwood, and her son, Joshua Kuiper. Also her brother Michael Generali of Winter Park, FL, her mother Joyce Generali of Sanford, FL, her father Louis Generali of
Vero Beach, FL, her step-mother Sandra Generali of Vero Beach, FL, her grandmother Bernadine Halloran of Winter Park, FL, and aunts, uncles and cousins. She also had many friends in Florida and Connecticut as well as other parts of the country. Dina was a graduate of the University of Hartford graduating with a BA in Art. She was a former teacher at the Cherokee School in Orlando and also worked as a zoo teacher and trained DOCENT at the Central Florida Zoo. Throughout her life she studied and worked as an artist in various mediums including oil and water paints, pastels, sketches, pottery and most especially in origami. She had a great interest in
nature, especially sea life and scuba diving. Dina loved reading, music, movies and people. She never hesitated to volunteer at her childrens' schools and at various local functions. There will be a
memorial Mass at 11:00a.m. Saturday, June 27 at Nativity Catholic Church, 3355 Ronald Reagan Blvd., Longwood, FL 32750. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be made to the Central Florida Zoo, P.O. Box 470309, Lake Monroe, FL 32747.
