Ernest Unruh Obituary

UNRUH, ERNEST (ERNIE) L., 81, of Eustis, passed away unexpectedly Monday, October 11, 2010. Born in Copeland, Kansas, Ernie served his country stateside in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and met his wife, Sheila while stationed in Pittsburgh, PA where they were married and lived until 1973 when the family moved to Eustis. Ernie had a long career as the Parts Manager at Ford dealerships in Pittsburgh and in Eustis. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Tavares. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sheila
Unruh, Eustis; two daughters,
Sheryl Loesch, Winter Garden,
Susan (Dale) Moxley, Eustis; granddaughter, Lea Moxley, Eustis. Ernie was a wonderful husband and father and will be missed, not only by his family, but by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Services will be held at Liberty Baptist Church, Tavares on Friday, October 15, 2011 at 10 a.m. A military graveside will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. The family will receive friends at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home, Eustis on Thursday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Baptist Church, 2451 Dora Avenue, Tavares, FL 32778 or to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778. I only knew Ernie for a short time,but it seems like I knew him forever.He will be a loss for everybody who knew him.He was a good friend for me and my brother.He was more then a friend he was family.I will miss our phone conversations. Carole & george gorman
