EVELYN DUNMYER Obituary

DUNMYER, EVELYN
HUSBANDS, CHEYNEY, 90 years of age, passed away Thursday evening, March 11, 2010, at her home in Longwood, FL. Evelyn was born in Swarthmore, Pennsylvania on Nov. 4, 1919, to Florence Elliott Husbands Cheyney and Warren Joseph Cheyney. She married Bruce Homer Dunmyer Sr. and lived in Baltimore, MD, before moving to Titusville, FL, in 1965. Evelyn lived a long and productive life, achieving recognition as a real estate agent in Central Florida. She was a life-long ballroom dancer and member of The Belles & Beaus in Orlando, FL. She was also a charter member of The Lovie Pritchard Questers Group of Titusville, FL, since 1972. She is survived by three children: Bruce Dunmyer Jr., Brian Paul Dunmyer and Susan Jaquett Dunmyer; four grandchildren: Jason Dunmyer, John Brian Dunmyer, Gabrielle Dunmyer and Wade Matthew Nelson; three great-grandchildren, John Dunmyer, Isabella DeTora and Lucas DeTora; three nieces: Pat Haislett, Kristin Haislett, and Robin Haislett, and cousin Franny DeBoard. Evelyn was a wonderful, charming and fun-loving woman and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Elam United Methodist Church in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
