Jerry Bass Obituary

BASS, SR., JERRY D., passed away Friday May 13, 2011, at his home in Apopka Fl. Born January 14, 1950 in Jasper, AL. He was a lifelong resident of Orange county Florida. A member of the Winter Garden Elks and Winter Garden VFW Post 4305. Son of Fred E. Bass, Sr. and stepmom, Ann Bass of Smith Station, Al. and Mary E. Hood of Winter Garden Fl. Survivors include, life partner, Linda M. Curey; brothers, Geno Bass and wife, Donna, Randy Bass and wife, Sharon, Greg Bass and wife, Lori; sisters Ellen Murphy, Helen Buhler, Thresa and husband, Gary Warr and Susan and husband, Steve Simon; children, Rhonda Bass,
Jerry (Bo) Bass Jr. and Chris Bass; also survived by four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Ocoee Family Funeral & Cremation Chapel Monday, May 16, 2011, from 6 to 8 pm, 101 W. Mckey Str., Ocoee Fl. 34761. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at the VFW Post, 4305 O Winter Garden.

I always had a good time when i was around you ,, from working on the house to cookouts.cb radio and all ..im gonna truly miss you jerry ...you were ALWAYS in a good mood which would bring me and others spirits up .. go rest high on that mountain my friend ,,,one day we shall see each other and loved ones again

Jerry, I will miss you and all the good times we have had together, cookouts, cb radio, hanging out and joking around, the fifteen years we worked together. You are like a brother to me and i will always have you in my heart and my thoughts. I will really miss you and I love ya man.

Jerry,I will miss you greatly,I will miss all the times we had, cookouts, drinking beer, talking on the cb radio, just hanging out and joking around, the fifteen years we worked together, I love you like a brother I will miss man you were one of the best friends a person could ask for. Jerry, you will be sorely missed. I Thank God for placing you and Linda in my life; we had some "real" fun together; especially on our trips. I know you will be having lots of fun with the other Angels (River Rats).
You set an example for a lot of men to follow; you enjoyed life to the fullest; I never heard you complain. Thanks, for being nice and very hospitable to Ron.
