Jo Morris Obituary

MORRIS, JO ANNE HERMAN, 67, retired from a career in sales and accounting, died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at her residence in the Duck River community. Family and friends will gather from 6 PM to 7 PM Thursday at Woodlawn Memorial Park for a time of remembrance. Born in Niagara Falls, New York, she was the daughter of the late LeRoy E. Herman and Dorthea Dugger Herman and a graduate of Bishop Union High School in Bishop, California. She was first married to Ronald Thomas who died in 1969. Her second husband, Dudley T. Morris, died August 15, 1992. Survivors include sons, Jim
(Susan) Thomas of Duck River, Tennessee, Ron (Lyzel) Thomas of Korea, and Rick (Stephanie) Morris of Birmingham, Alabama; step-son, Derrick (Sue) Morris of Salinas, California; step-daughter Tori (Doug) Fields of Salinas, California; siblings, Donna L. (Andrew)
Hollenstain of Salinas, California and Ronald L. (Peggy) Herman of Redding, California.

I googled Jo when her telephone didn't work and I was deeply saddened to learn of her death. I cared very much about her and am so sorry I have been out of touch. Please feel my love surrounding you and my prayers lifting you up. She loved all of her children so much.
