He was preceded in death by his love of his life Margaret (Peg) Di Lello of which they were married for 42 years prior to her death; his paternal parents James Di Lello and Angela Di Lello and In-laws Frank Di Donato and Rose Di Donato. Lou lived a wonderful and spiritual life. He was a member of the Army then the Army National Guard for a total of 16 years before moving to Florida in July of 1971 with his family to start a new chapter in their life. Lou had many adventures such as owning a Gas station/store in Apopka and owning his own Hess Gas Station. After that he got into the Pest Control Business and his motto was "Lou's my name and bugs are my game". During the holidays he worked at Walt Disney World in the Live Nativity. Lou was a long time member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church - he was very involved with different activities giving his time to his church. He was also an honored member of the Knights of Columbus. When it came to Lou's four daughters, he made sure his girls got to their dance classes, voice classes, church activities and as the girls got older their school activities such as play practices, cross country meets, band practices (the coaches even felt sorry for him having no boys, so they let him on the football field during home games), softball games and then with his grandchildren's activities - beauty pageants, baseball games, wrestling meets, gymnastics and dance recitals. If you ask any of his children or grandchildren he always was their biggest supporter. We will celebrate Lou's life during a gathering at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, FL on Sept 2, 2014, with visitation from 6 pm - 8 pm. On Wed, Sept 3, 2014 a Mass service will be held at St. Mary Magdelen Church in Altamonte Springs, FL at 11:00 am.
