Notice Condolences

Crombie, Robert J.in Duluth, GA., a longtime resident of Orlando, FL. passed away August 24, 2013 after a brief illness. He was 73. He graduated from Franklin Institute, class of 1976 with a degree in Architectural Engineering Technology. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Army, was a member of Mensa and had received several certificates of appreciation from veteran's organizations and school organizations. He was a strong supporter of education and advocated against domestic violence. Robert is survived by his beloved daughters, Laura Crombie of Duluth, GA, Melissa Johnson and her husband RaShone of Duluth GA; his granddaughter, Lorrianna Johnson and many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Alexander and Margaret (Alcott) Crombie. Loving brother of Raymond, Ronald, Russell, Randall, Roy, Jeanne Gunning, Judith Cross, Joanne Boyden and the late Richard Crombie and Janet Wilson. A memorial service will be held September 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Good Council Church in Quincy, MA. at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends invited. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Disabled Veterans of America or DOVE.
