It has been years since I heard that Sean had passed. We went to middle and high school together. He was so full of joy, friendly to everyone, very popular but not conceited. He will never be forgotten.

Jim and Susie,
This is Cathy Alexander. Rick told me about the tragic accident and loss of your son and his cousin. My heart goes out to you and your family for your pain and sadness. I can't begin to know how you feel but I imagine a part of you died too. There is nothing I could write to ease your pain, so just know there is someone else from long ago that is thinking of you both.
I am holding you close in my heart and praying that time will speed your healing and offer much needed comfort and peace.
With every loving thought,
Cathy

Susie and Jim,
I was talking with my sister this morning - she just learned of your tragic loss through Debbie Robertson Smith. Susie, it has been a long time since we were in school together, but I wanted to let you know our hearts go out to your family and we are so sad for the loss of your son, Sean. I know there are no magic words to take away your pain, but we will pray for your family.
Take care,
I love you all so much and I'm praying that God will bring you peace.

Hi Jim and Susie,
So sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your son. It's been a thousand years since I've seen you both...I came across these words at a friend's memorial service, and I hope they bring you some small measure of peace....God Bless ya. dp
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near, just around the corner….
All is well.

I've known Sean for a relatively short time but thought very highly of him. We were neighbors and I had the privilege to wakeskate and workout with him regularly. I was very moved by the service today in Bushnell. It was amazing to hear about the impact that Sean had on so many lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
Here is a video I took on my phone of the flyby that followed today's service: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa3_L88xpUw

Sean would be a relative of some of the McLeods from Orlando that I've known since I was a teenager. How very young and sad to lose someone so early in life. My thoughts are with you and for him. God will bless him and comfort him now. Sorry for your loss.
