Timothy Myers Obituary

MYERS, TIMOTHY DANIEL, 19, a lifelong resident of Orlando, FL, is now free to sing and dance on the streets of gold. Born July 27, 1991, Tim was lovingly tucked into bed by his parents, Wednesday night and woke up in the arms of Christ on Thursday, June 2nd. Tim was an extraordinary teenager and exemplified the meaning of his name - One Who Honors God. Though he faced multiple physical challenges, he was always happy and enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved music, swimming, spending time with his family, and playing with his beloved service dog, Carey. Everyone who met him was drawn to his sweet smile and infectious laughter. Timothy is survived by his parents, Dan and Kathi Myers; his sister, Rebecca Myers; his grandparents, Arthur and Adele Brooks and Charles and Peggy Myers; his great-grandparents, J.D. Hufham and Audrey Myers; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins whom he dearly loved. He touched many lives and his memory will be cherished - until the day we are reunited. A celebration of life service will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 6:30 PM at Pine Castle United Methodist Church. Donations in Timothy's memory may be made to Nathaniel's Hope, 2300 Jetport Drive, Orlando, FL 32809.

Marshall and I can remember the first time we saw Tim. He had a smile on his face even as a baby. He kept that smile all his life ever time you will see him. We know that he is smiling all over Heaven and having a grand time.

God Bless Tim's life, he is so loved by many, but not like God's love, He was blessed with loving parents and grandparents that God picked out long before Tim was even born. God know's witch ones can handle struggles in a special person life. He also brought much love to all and a learning experence.

Kathi and Dan, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow. Although we have not seen Timothy since we moved to Macon, we remember his birth and early years. He was born the same year as Mackenzie, our youngest. May you be comforted with the peace of God which surpasses your understanding and live with the knowing in your hearts that someday you will be reunited with him in Heaven.

I met Timothy when he was probablyjust 5 or so, and thought how deeply beautiful he was. He radiated from the inside out. His beauty was so strong, I remember feeling it physically, right in the middle of my chest. I am thrilled to know where he is, and yet we are sympathetic to those of you without him. May God's Holy Spirit provide you with the comfort only He can bring. God Bless you all.
