Dear Kamphaus Family,
I just heard from a friend of your mom's passing. I worked with your mom for 13 years in the 80's and 90's. She was a wonderful employee and TOTALLY loved working with kids. She was always looking for new and different ways to teach math. I will always remember a story she shared about kids thinking that her name was Mrs. Kamp out and that she lived in the trailer that was her classroom....they wondered where the bathroom was. She will always have a special place in my heart even though we had lost touch...I'm so sorry for your loss and hope that you know how much your mother meant to so many people.

I am sad to hear about the passing of your mother, I have such fond memories of your family. I'm sure you remember the story of me looking down on one of the baby boy's in your crib, and passing out taking the crib with me at your home on Kingsbridge. I still remember your mother teaching me how to cook squash and zuccihini, which to this day is my families favorite. You will all be in my thoughts, I know first hand how these next days, and weeks, even month's and years will be for you all. All of the Schiavoni's send their condolences, Kathleen

My thoughts are prayers are with you. Nicole after working with you for over 13 years, I know how close you were with your mother. It was obvious that you two shared a special bond and love that only a mother and daughter can share. May your mother rest in peace and find happiness. I'm sure your dad welcomed her with open arms and they are together again.

We at St John Vianney will always remember dear Vilma and Larry. Words cannot cannot bring you comfort right now, but the display of affection and prayers from friends and fellow parishioners might. The children whose lives were touched by Vilma's loving smile will never forget her. She and you are forever in our prayers.
In Christ,

What a wonderful person Vilma was, she was always so loving to the children at St. John Vianney, she will truly be missed. My middle daughter worked at the SJV concession stand with her and to this day talks about her and how she loved helping Mrs. Kamhaus
