William Taaffe Obituary

TAAFFE, WILLIAM "WILL" CHRISTOPHER, 21 of Maitland, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. He was born June 10, 1987 in Winter Park, Florida. He was the son of Susan Brown Taaffe and Francis B. Taaffe. Will graduated from Winter Park High School in 2005, where he was known as the best anchorman, and for his videos in tv production. He also attended Valencia Community College. He was an avid skateboarder, wakeboarder, and also loved to play video games, paintball, ride roller coasters, snow ski, fireworks, and being outdoors. Will was an avid youth group goer at First Prysbyterian Church of Maitland. He loved hanging out with his great friends who enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor and his crazy skateboarding tricks, especially the Nollie Shu-it, and his genorosity. Will was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.R. Brown Jr. and Caroline Painter Brown. He is survived by his mother Susan Brown Taaffe, father Francis B. Taaffe, sister Meredith A. Taaffe, half-brother Vincent F.Taaffe and grandmother Theresa Taaffe. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, his many wonderful friends, and his cat Oreo. Visitation at Baldwin Fairchild, East Altamonte Chapel, for friends and family of Will, Susan and Meredith will be Tuesday, September 23 from 5-8pm . Visitation for Francis Taaffe family is Monday, Septmeber 22, 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 24 at First Presbyterian Church of Maitland at 3pm with Reverand Gerald Iwerks officiating. In leu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.

Susan & Meredith,
My heart aches for you as i know it stopped briefly when i heard the news. Don't let your life be consumed with the "Why?" but fill it with all the joy that Will & only Will could bring to you. He will always be with you & will be waiting for you. Never let go of the undying & unconditonal "mother's" love that only you can give, even now he will always need & want.
